INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. – The Tahoe Transportation District (TTD) is hosting a self-guided public information open house about upcoming projects along SR28 on Wednesday, April 30, from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
There are multiple planned improvement projects including:
- Tahoe Transportation District North Parking Project (Rocky Point Parking)
- Tahoe Transportation District SR 28 Central Corridor Improvements
- Nevada Department of Transportation Spooner Transit Hub, Parking Project & Watercraft Inspection Station
- And more
The community will be able to view project displays and maps at information stations around the room. Staff will be available to answer questions.
Attendees may arrive anytime during the event
The TTD Open House will be held at the Incline Village Library, 845 Alder Ave., Incline Village, Nevada.
These strategic improvements along SR 28 are designed to:
- Improve safety
- Relocate unsafe on-highway parking
- Reduce traffic congestion
- Protect Lake Tahoe
- Expand multimodal transportation choices
- Enhance the visitor experience
