To Whom it May Concern: We are writing to demonstrate our unrelenting support of candidate Tamara Wallace for District 5 Supervisor. We have known Mrs. Wallace to be an honorable public servant who stands by her word and decisions. She works tirelessly in her community both professionally and in her personal time. She is a conservative who understands that meeting in the middle is the only method to collaborate on matters that affect her constituents and the County as a whole, regardless of her political party. We appreciate her willingness to work on solutions, rather than dig her heels in on principle for a political win. She is a leader that recognizes there are no winners when people can’t work together on viable solutions.

A District Supervisor needs to understand how an issue will impact the entire County, not just their district. We have watched her tenacity in learning the facts and dedicating her time to understanding the issues in their entirety- not just how it pertains to anyone’s specific agenda. She is not afraid to stand up for what makes sense, but most important to us is that she is not afraid to change her mind when something no longer makes sense. Too many politicians are afraid to evolve; Tamara Wallace understands that humanity evolves and changing circumstances require leadership at every step of the decision-making process.

On a personal level, we have known her to be compassionate, strong, and driven in the face of significant adversity. She understands the humanity in those that she serves and dedicates herself to those who are in need of an advocate and to those lucky enough to be called her friends and family.

We strongly support Tamara Wallace and believe she is the right fit for the vacant District 5 position. Far too often as residents of El Dorado County we have witnessed the existing Board vote based on their affiliations with other District Supervisors. It is time to have someone on the Board who is willing to focus on the details of a matter and acknowledge the impact it has on the entire County.

Respectfully,
Colleen Hearn, Resident, El Dorado County
