SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – El Dorado County is reporting 76 more residents have tested positive for COVID-19 since Friday: 0 from Pollock Pines/Camino/Kyburz, 8 in El Dorado Hills, 5 in Diamond Springs/El Dorado, 4 in North County, 14 in Greater Placerville, 4 in Cameron Park/Shingle Springs/Rescue, 0 in South County, 40 in Lake Tahoe region. Awaiting address confirmation from today’s count: 1. Total now awaiting address confirmation: 98.
Of those new cases, 7 are under the age of 18, 50 are age 18-49, 15 are aged 50-64, and 4 aged 65 or older. Awaiting age confirmation from today’s count: 0. Total birthdate unknown to date: 11.
There have been another 51 assumed recoveries with 481 assumed active cases.
There have been an additional 1,700 negative results received.
There are currently 2 COVID-19 patients hospitalized and 3 in the ICU. As of today, Barton has 1 patient hospitalized with COVID-19 and 3 in the ICU, and 1 hospitalized due to COVID-19 at Marshall, with 0 in their ICU. There are 3 suspected COVID-positive patients in the ICU at Barton. Also according to the State website, Barton has 2 available ICU beds, Marshall 0.
There have been no additional deaths. Since March 2020 there have been 110 COVID-related deaths in El Dorado County.
With respect to the tier assignment measures (and which color tiers those numbers fall in):
