UPDATE 5.6.21: The City Council regularly scheduled meeting for Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at 5:30 p.m. has been canceled. A Special City Council meeting has been called for Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at 1:30 p.m. The first item on the Agenda will be Closed Session which will last approximately one hour.
SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – If you watch the South Lake Tahoe City Council meetings through the City’s Facebook page or on its website, you could see them, but not hear them on Tuesday, May 4 when it started at 9:00 a.m. Only those who participated through Zoom could hear the council and staff.
South Tahoe Now contacted Mayor Wallace about the lack of volume so the meeting was paused as staff could get the problem fixed.
Due to a hardware failure with the City’s Channel 21 connection, the meeting is canceled for May 4 and the agenda will be moved to the next Council meeting on May 18.
The 4th agenda items will move to a 1:30 p.m. meeting on May 18, if needed, a closed session will happen at 4:30 p.m., and the normal evening agenda starts at 5:30 p.m.
