ALPINE COUNTY, Calif. – lpine County is encouraging residents, visitors, business owners, and recreation users to take part in the final week of the Tri County Economic Analysis of Recreation Stakeholder Survey. The survey ends on May 8, 2026.

This regional effort, developed in partnership with Inyo and Mono Counties, is focused on understanding how outdoor recreation supports local economies, communities, and quality of life across the Eastern Sierra. The survey plays a key role in shaping a comprehensive economic analysis that will guide future recreation planning, infrastructure investment, and long term stewardship.

The survey is open to anyone who has lived, worked, owned a business, or recreated in the Eastern Sierra within the past three years. Input from a wide range of participants is essential to ensure the study reflects real experiences and priorities from across the region.

This is a valuable opportunity for people to share their perspective and help guide how we invest in and manage these resources moving forward.”

Alpine County encourages anyone with a connection to the region to participate before the survey closes and make their voice heard.
