SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – El Dorado County is reporting 26 more residents have tested positive for COVID-19 since yesterday: 0 from Pollock Pines/Camino/Kyburz, 7 in El Dorado Hills, 1 in Diamond Springs/El Dorado, 3 in North County, 7 in Greater Placerville, 4 in Cameron Park/Shingle Springs/Rescue, 0 in South County, 4 in Lake Tahoe region. Awaiting address confirmation from today’s count: -2. Total now awaiting address confirmation: 97.
Of those new cases, 7 are under the age of 18, 10 are age 18-49, 5 are aged 50-64, and 4 aged 65 or older. Awaiting age confirmation from today’s count: 0. Total birthdate unknown to date: 11.
There have been another 29 assumed recoveries with 477 assumed active cases.
There have been an additional 1,100 negative results received.
There are currently 2 COVID-19 patients hospitalized and 1 in the ICU. As of today, Barton has 1 patient hospitalized with COVID-19 and 1 in the ICU, and 1 hospitalized due to COVID-19 at Marshall, with 0 in their ICU. There are 0 suspected COVID-positive patients in the ICU at Barton. Also according to the State website, Barton has 4 available ICU beds, Marshall 3.
There has been one additional death: A 65+ male from Greater Placerville occurred in February). Since March 2020 there have been 112 COVID-related deaths in El Dorado County.

We are reporting an additional death due to COVID-19 in the Quad-County Region. The individual was a female Carson City resident in her 60’s.
