SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The South Tahoe High School Viking Choir proudly represented their school on May 3 at a regional choir competition held at American Canyon High School. Under the direction of Miss Allyssa Little, the talented ensemble performed three pieces, showcasing their hard work, musicality, and dedication to the choral arts.

Following their performance, the choir joined other participating schools at Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, where the awards ceremony took place. The Viking Choir earned first place in their division and received a rating of Excellent, a reflection of their exceptional preparation and vocal precision.

A special highlight of the day was the recognition of Ash Kramer, who received the Outstanding Vocalist Award for an exceptional solo performance—a prestigious honor given to only one vocal soloist throughout the competition.

The South Tahoe community is incredibly proud of the Viking Choir and congratulates them on their outstanding achievements!
