DOUGLAS COUNTY, Nev. – Deputies from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) were dispatched to Topaz Lake on Saturday, May 7 at 11:40 a.m. after a boat overturned and several individuals were in the water.
According to DSCO, one person was pronounced deceased and three others needed medical attention.
The name of the deceased individual has not been released at this time.
Nevada Division of Wildlife (NDOW) is the leading the investigation with the assistance of DCSO. There are no other details at this time.
