SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Some big changes for the Lake Tahoe Basin. The Wind Advisory started Sunday and remains in place until 5 a.m. Monday. The low-pressure system that brought the wind will also be bringing rain and a chance of snow to start the week.

Dry air and cool temperatures will take over in the wake of the Monday-Tuesday system, allowing morning low temperatures to drop below freezing. Protect the plants through Thursday morning though afternoon temperatures start warming Wednesday.
