SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – A one-day pickleball tournament will be played at Tahoe Paradise Park on July 5, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to support Metastatic Breast Cancer research. Enjoy food trucks, live music, and a silent auction while competing or cheering from the sidelines.
“Pinkleball in Paradise” players can register for the women’s, men’s, and mixed round robin competition for $55. Visit HERE to sign up. If you’d like to donate to the cause, scan the QR code on the left side of the flyer above.
Every match, every bid, and every donation makes a difference. Let’s rally together for a great cause.
Players can only play in one event. All play will be a round robin format with teams being guaranteed at least five games. Age divisions may be implemented if needed.
With only eight courts at the park, organizers will need to limit the number of participants to 110. Once they reach that number, registration will be closed. This tournament has filled each year before the scheduled June 15 close of registration. So, be sure to register EARLY.
The minimum age to play is 21. This is NOT a sanctioned tournament.
Where there used to be a single rating system for pickleball, there are now several. They will continue to use the (outdated) UTPR system, which utilizes a skill level range of 1 – 5.
Skill levels used for player placement in our tournament will be: 2.5/3.0 (Recreational) ; 3.5 (Intermediate); 4.0+ (Advanced)
Registration requires payment for each player. You may register without a partner, but you will need to add a partner within three days of registering, or you will be moved to the Wait List.
Registration for each player is $55, with $50 going to South Tahoe Cancer League and/or METAvivor (https://www.metavivor.org/). This amount is tax-deductible. The other $5 is paid to Pickleball Brackets for registration processing.
