The Girls Swim Team had a great season too and finished 5th in NV 3A State Championships, led by Nicole Whisnant, who placed 2nd in both the 50-yard Freestyle and the 100-yard Individual Medley. She was also part of the 200-yard Freestyle Relay team (3rd) and the 200-yard Medley Relay (4th) along with Lupita Rehn (JR), Kiana Rehn (SO), and Maia Edmonds (SR). Maia Edmonds contributed points with a 7th place in the 100-yard Backstroke and 3rd in the 500-yard Freestyle. South Tahoe’s Swim and Dive teams had an exceptional year thanks to their hard work, dedication and commitment, along with their amazing coach, Will Davenport (and his support coaches). Special shout out to Eddie Kollar, the Douglas High Dive Coach who volunteered his time for STHS and their new divers.
Congratulations everyone!
