EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. – El Dorado County is planning improvements to the Rubicon Trail staging area in Tahoma, and the project planners want to hear from you! The Rubicon Trail Parking Lot Expansion Project aims to improve safety, reduce neighborhood impacts, and enhance access to this popular off-highway vehicle destination.
The project will include 32 – 34 additional trailer parking spaces, the closing of roadside shoulders to reduce overflow parking, and the exploration of community interest in a walking trail from the Tahoma neighborhood.
