SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Valhalla Tahoe’s 2026 Festival of Arts officially begins this week, launching another season of live music, theatre, free community events, educational programming, and cultural experiences on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe.
The season opens Wednesday, June 3, with acclaimed blues artist Brother Yusef in the Boathouse Theatre, followed by the return of audience favorite Marty O’Reilly Trio on June 10. Throughout the season, Valhalla will host an exciting lineup of concerts, theatre productions, improv performances, educational programs, and special events at Valhalla Tahoe, the historic Heller Estate on the shores of Lake Tahoe.
“We are excited to welcome our community and visitors back for another incredible season at Valhalla,” said Meg Peart, Executive Director of Valhalla Tahoe. “The Festival of Arts is about bringing people together through music, theatre, history, and shared experiences in one of Lake Tahoe’s most beautiful and historic settings.”
The popular Free Lawn Concert Series also returns this season, featuring four free performances on Valhalla’s Grand Lawn overlooking Lake Tahoe. This year’s lineup includes Lindsay & the Cheeks on Father’s Day, Uncle Lucius, Osito, and Nether Hour. These family-friendly concerts invite attendees to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and picnics while enjoying live music by the lake.
Additional 2026 programming includes theatre productions, improv comedy performances, educational events, historic tours, community gatherings, and family activities designed to engage audiences of all ages.
Located on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe, Valhalla Tahoe is dedicated to preserving Tahoe heritage through restoration, arts, music, theatre, and celebrations. Through the Festival of Arts and year-round programming, Valhalla welcomes thousands of residents and visitors each year while helping preserve and activate the historic Heller Estate for future generations.
