SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The El Dorado Community Foundation is hosting “Philanthropy on Tap,” an evening on nonprofit networking and collaboration on Thursday, June 5, at The Hangar in South Lake Tahoe from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. A second evening will be held on June 12 at the Jack Russell Brewery in Camino.
From 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., a “flight” of nonprofit organizations serving South Lake Tahoe and El Dorado County. will have 60-90 seconds to provide its elevator speech describing its mission, programs, and greatest needs. One nonprofit will win a $500 prize for “best presentation.”
Then, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., the public is invited to engage in conversation with the nonprofits in attendance. Learn more about them and what they are doing in the community.
Philanthropy on Tap is free and open to the community.
Light appetizers will be provided. Drinks are available for purchase. Two free drink tickets for the Friends of the Foundation members.
The Hangar Lake Tahoe is located at 2401 Lake Tahoe Blvd., South Lake Tahoe. Parking is limited, and biking and carpooling are encouraged.
