SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The City of South Lake Tahoe invites community members, organizations, and businesses to sign up to participate in the 10th annual 4th of July Parade, taking place on Friday, July 4, 2025. This year marks a decade of the beloved community tradition, and the theme, “10 Years of Tahoe Spirit,” honors the pride, unity, and enthusiasm that have defined this event since its beginning.
The parade is free to join and open to groups of all kinds, including local nonprofits, youth groups, classic car owners, performance groups, businesses, and individuals. Whether you plan to build a float, drive a vehicle, or walk the route with a group, everyone is welcome to take part in this celebration of community and country.

Start Time: 9:00 AM
Parade Route: U.S. Highway 50 from Ski Run Blvd. to Al Tahoe Blvd.
Participants will also have the chance to compete for “Best of the Parade” awards in categories such as Best Commercial Entry, Best Nonprofit Entry, Best Youth Entry, Best Classic Auto, and the popular “Anything Goes” category.
