SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The next meeting of the Lake Tahoe Unified School District (LTUSD) will take place on Thursday, June 12, starting at 5 p.m. with closed session, regular session at 6 p.m.
They will be honoring the following site Employees of the Year:
- Al Tahoe: Diana D’Angelo (Classified) and Jillian Raymond (Certificated)
- Bijou: Pedro Lopez (Classified) and Nico Eckhart (Certificated)
- Sierra House: Krista Livas (Classified) and Kim Yuon (Certificated)
- Tahoe Valley – Ali Kehoe (Classified) and Vickie Dant (Certificated)
- Meyers: Liesbeth Melis (Classified)
- STMS: Blanca Castillo (Classified) and Larry Lambdin (Certificated)
- STHS: Bernadette Santana (Classified) and Liz Ferguson (Certificated)
- District: Brenna Dillman (Supervisory) and Scott Ramirez (Classified)
The following employees will be recognized as the District Employees of the Year:
- Larry Lambdin, Teacher at STMS, has been named LTUSD’s Certificated Employee of the Year.
- Liesbeth Melis, Instructional Aide at Meyers, has been named the LTUSD’s Classified Employee of the Year.
Also on the agenda: A public hearing on the 2025-26 budget ahead of a vote during the June 26 board meeting. There will also be a required public hearing on the Local Control and Accountability Plan. A report on South Tahoe High School’s single focus plan and Career and Technical Education, and a Measure U update.
The students who have served on the school board will also be recognized.
