EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. – The 2025 El Dorado County Fair gets underway this week in Placerville, running from June 12 – 15. The theme this year is “Moovin’ n’ Groovin’. “Some days you just gotta put on your boots and dance.”
The county has had an annual fair since the mid-1800s, and the tradition continues at the fairgrounds.

The fair hours:
Thursday – Noon – midnight – (Kids’ Day and Senior Day)
Friday – Noon – midnight – (Teens’ Day)
Saturday – 10:00 am – midnight
Sunday – Noon – 10:00 pm – (Father’s Day)
