ALPINE COUNTY, Calif. – Alpine County recognized Sheriff Rick Stephens, Katherine Snyder, and Jema Kimmel for their combined 94 years of service to the county.
“Sheriff Rick Stephens has dedicated his life and career to the residents of Alpine County,” said County CAO Nichole Williamson. “His selfless service, strong will, and multi-agency coordination have been the cornerstones of his tenure in Alpine County. Katherine and Jema are the heartbeats of the Alpine County staff in Bear Valley and their long-standing commitment to the well-being of the community has made Bear Valley and Alpine County a better place. We wish them all well in their retirement and thank them for their service.”
