STATELINE, Nev. – Join Tahoe Douglas Fire Protection District and partners for Family Day at Kahle Community Center on Saturday, June 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Join them for a fun-filled day focused on learning how to live more safely with wildfire. Kids can play games and meet firefighters. Everyone can learn more about wildfire risk and learn practical steps to protect your home, neighborhoods, and natural surroundings.
The event will bring together local, state, and federal partners to provide hands-on resources, educational materials, and one-on-one conversations related to wildfire preparedness, defensible space, fire-adapted communities, and related topics.
