
ALPINE COUNTY, Calif. – Alpine County was successfully awarded $1,815,000 by the USFS State & Private Forestry Grant. These funds are for the purposes of private property, post-fire restoration, and cleanup. As a condition of the grant, Alpine County will contract with a registered professional forester to review funding requests, approve projects, conduct an environmental review and certify the completion of work.
