SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The fourth new business to open in South Lake Tahoe in just a few weeks will be celebrated this weekend with a grand opening at Ulta Beauty at the “Y.”
It follows Target, Sierra, and Five Below in recent openings on the South Shore. The last two join Ulta in going into the old Kmart store in the South Y Center, adjacent to Raley’s.
Ulta had a soft opening on June 20, but the official grand opening will be June 27-29, 2025. When the doors open on Friday, there will be a ribbon cutting, and all shoppers over the weekend will receive a 20 percent off coupon.
Store manager Tina Wadkins said they are fully staffed with about 30 employees.
The store, located at 1050 Emerald Bay Rd., joins over 1,450 other Ulta locations. 175 of those are located in California.
Ulta South Lake Tahoe hours:
- Monday – Wednesday – 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- Thursday – Saturday – 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
- Sunday – 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.
