SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Tahoe Arts Project and Tahoe Valley Performing Arts are excited to present their annual Children’s Summer Theater production, My Son Pinocchio Jr., featuring talented young performers from throughout the South Lake Tahoe community.
The two-week Children’s Summer Theater program provides local youth with the opportunity to develop skills in acting, singing, dancing, and stage performance while building confidence, creativity, and teamwork. Open to children of all experience levels, the program creates a supportive and inclusive environment where every participant has the opportunity to shine.
This year’s production, My Son Pinocchio Jr., brings the beloved story of Pinocchio to life through music, humor, and heartwarming performances by the area’s young actors.
“We are thrilled to provide children with the opportunity to experience the magic of live theater,” said Peggy Blowney, Executive Director of Tahoe Arts Project. “The confidence, friendships, and memories created during this program often last a lifetime.”
The community is invited to attend public performances of My Son Pinocchio Jr. on Friday, July 3, at 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. in the South Tahoe Middle School Multi-Purpose Room.
Admission is at the door and ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 for children.
Please enter from Al Tahoe Blvd. by the bus garage as the front parking lot is closed.
