SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – With summer in full swing and just seven Thursday nights left in the season, the Live at Lakeview Summer Music Series is hitting its stride with a run of can’t-miss performances at Lakeview Commons.

Kicking off the midseason stretch are three high-energy nights that showcase the diversity and talent of this year’s lineup

  • July 17 – Funk & Soul: Jenes N The Juice bring high-octane energy and powerful vocals to the beach, following a smooth and soulful set by the Sean Hodge Trio.
  • July 24 – Ska/Reggae: Left on Tenth blends roots reggae with horn-heavy funk and rock, with The Gnarly Pints warming up the stage with their lively, Celtic-infused sound.
  • July 31 – Latin Fusion: Suika T lights up the shoreline with tropical rhythms and Latin soul, while Miranda Love opens with raw, acoustic vibes from right here in Tahoe.

“The crowds have been incredible, the lake is sparkling, and the music just keeps getting better,” says Leslie Schultz, marketing director for On Course Events. “We’re proud to keep this series free and full of heart for the entire community.”

Live at Lakeview was recently voted Best Annual Event in the Best of Tahoe Awards—for the third year in a row, thanks to the strong support of the South Shore community.

The free weekly concert series runs every Thursday through August 28 from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Lakeview Commons, with music, food vendors, local artisans, and stunning lake views from the beer & wine garden (hosted by South of North Brewing Co.). Proceeds benefit The Smaine Fund, supporting
up-and-coming athletes in outdoor sports.

Lakeview Commons is located at 1004 Lakeview Ave. South Lake Tahoe.

Parking is limited, but community-minded options, including biking, walking, carpooling, and ride shares are strongly encouraged. A free bike valet is offered weekly and operated by a different nonprofit organization each week—100% of tips go directly to their cause.
