LAKE TAHOE, Calif./Nev. – Clean Up The Lake’s ‘Make A Difference Creative’ team is producing a photo series to raise awareness around aquatic invasive species (AIS) prevention, and they’re looking for volunteer talent!
They’ll be capturing scenes at Sand Harbor and the Meyer’s Boat Inspection Station, highlighting how people can help protect Lake Tahoe against AIS. They will need a variety of folks to represent the community:
August 14th @ Sand Harbor (Beach Scenes):
- A family with kids (with beach toys)
- A group of young adults (with paddle board/s & inflatable tube/s)
- A 55+ couple (with kayaks and life vests)
August 13th @ Meyers Inspection Station Shoot:
- 1 x person towing their boat
- 1 x person with their eFoil/kayak
Please note that boaters at the Meyers inspection station will get a full free decontamination and inspection. Clean Up The Lake also wants to emphasize that they welcome and encourage participation from individuals of all backgrounds, ethnicities, and identities. The goal is to reflect the diverse community that enjoys and protects Lake Tahoe.
No acting experience needed—just be camera-ready. This is a volunteer opportunity and photography will take place on August 13 and 14.
