SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The South Lake Tahoe Police Department (SLTPD) is hosting National Night Out on Tuesday, August 5, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the parking lot of TJ Maxx, 2015 Lake Tahoe Blvd.
SLTPD will have its SWAT, E-Bike, and Motor Unit on display. They will be joined by:
- El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue
- Tahoe CERT (Community Emergency Response Team)
- El Dorado County Probation
- California Highway Patrol
Food vendors will also be there:
- Sombreros
- Sliceshack
- Pop, Crunch & Munch
Bring the whole family for an evening of food, fun, and activities for all ages.
National Night Out is an annual community-building event held on the first Tuesday of August, It’s designed to strengthen community-police partnerships and foster a sense of camaraderie among neighbors.
