The California Highway Patrol (CHP) South Lake Tahoe office is holding its next Coffee with a Cop of Saturday, August 15, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
It will be held at the Mad Dog Cafe – 290 Old Pony Express Way, Markleeville.
Coffee with a Cop is a national community policing program where local police officers and community members sit down together at a neutral spot—usually a local coffee shop—to talk, ask questions, and build personal relationships outside of crisis situations.
The community is invited to stop by at any time between 10 a.m. and noon.
