Evacuations were reportedly underway on the West Slope of El Dorado County Wednesday after a quick moving fire had consumed 30 to 40 acres. The brush fire started around 2:45 p.m. near Salmon Falls Road and Miners Valley Road, just above Folsom Lake, near Pilot Hill.
El Dorado County Sheriff’s Sgt. James Byers said there are multiple evacuations on multiple streets according to KXTV News10.net.
