Tahoe Douglas Rotary

Members of the 60 member strong Tahoe Douglas Rotary Club recently completed two kiosks for the public to use in the South Lake Tahoe area. The first one is located at Kahle Community Park and the second one is at the new Van Sickle Bi-State Park. The kiosks are now used to hold information, including maps of trails and topography as well as pictures and events. The club took on the projects as part of the worldwide volunteer work day. Every year, Rotarians from around the world hold a “Rotarians at Work Day.” This event is held on the same day in each country, showing how everyone working together can make a difference by volunteering.
