SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Heavenly is extending its hours over the holiday weekend and has announced it will add one more weekend of summer activities and close in October.
- Heavenly will extend hours of operation on Saturday, August 30 and Sunday, August 31 for Labor Day weekend. Hours of operation will be 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., open an additional two hours later each day.
- After Labor Day (September 1), Heavenly will transition back to weekends only (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) until summer operations close for the season.
- Heavenly is extending summer operations by an additional weekend. Originally, the resort’s planned closing day was Sunday, September 28 but they will now be open October 3-5 during normal operating hours (10 a.m. – 5 p.m.) for Gondola sightseeing and activities.
