LAKE TAHOE, Nev. – From September 27-28, the Lake Tahoe Amphitheatre will host some of the world’s most elite mountain bike athletes as they launch into the
Inaugural MTB Big Air Competition at the Tahoe Games Mountain Sports Festival, presented by Visit Lake Tahoe and On Course Events.

The first baker’s dozen confirmed athletes include professional Mountain Bikers, X Games icons, BMX innovators turned mountain bikers, and local legends with more than 50 podiums to their names: PLUS a full weekend of live music from The Expendables and Jakobs Castle, 880 South, The Happys, Crowd Surf League, Josbeatz and Lake Tahoe DJ.

While the Big Air comp anchors the weekend, Tahoe Games Mountain Sports Festival is stacked with activations designed for an action-packed weekend:

  • A Ski & Snowboard Rail Jam, hitting the first rails of the 2025–26 season
  • Morning Yoga sessions led by Omni with fresh tracks from DJ Josbeatz
  • Kids Bike Jump Jam for future champs 14 and under (pre-registration required)
  • The Smaine Fund Zone, presented by STIO, turns mini-games and raffles into meaningful fundraising for up-and-coming outdoor athletes
