SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The Friends of the Library is holding a week-long used book sale at the South Lake Tahoe Library. Until Saturday, September 27, fill a bag with books for only $5, or if just a few books, make a donation.
Most of the books are paperbacks, but hard cover are also available.
Bring your own page, the bigger the better, or take one in the sale area. The books are located in the library’s lobby, 1000 Rufus Allen Blvd. Cash, checks or Book Bucks from the Summer Reading program go into the black Honor Box by the bookcase.
Stock up now as the next big used book sale isn’t until November 15. The library is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday. All proceeds support the South Lake Tahoe Library.
