SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – South Tahoe High School (STHS) will be celebrating its annual homecoming activities with the community on Friday, October 3, starting with a parade down Lake Tahoe Boulevard at 4:30 p.m.

STHS graduate Sean Fannan, founder of the Marcella Foundation, is the grand marshal and will be leading the parade with members of the foundation as they start the procession at the Lake Tahoe Unified School District (LTUSD) bus garage on Al Tahoe Blvd. There are over 30 entries in the parade this year, including fire and police vehicles, trucks from South Tahoe Refuse and the South Tahoe Public Utility District, homecoming royalty, LTUSD staff and board members, and elementary schools – the future STHS students.

Floats and cars start on Al Tahoe, with those walking in the parade joining in at Magic Carpet Golf for the trip to the high school.

The homecoming football game on Friday is against Sparks High School. Varsity starts at 7 p.m., Junior Varsity at 4:30 p.m.
