SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. — Valhalla Tahoe has announced tickets are now on sale for its fall theatre production of Proof, the Pulitzer Prize– and Tony Award–winning play by David Auburn, directed by David Hamilton.
Performances will be held in the historic Boathouse Theatre on October 16, 17, 18, 19, 23, 24 & 25 at 7:30 p.m., with a matinee on October 26 at 2 p.m.
A moving exploration of genius, family, and the thin line between brilliance and instability, Proof tells the story of Catherine, a young woman who has spent years caring for her brilliant but troubled father, a renowned mathematician. As her sister returns home and a former student searches through her father’s notebooks, Catherine is forced to confront the legacy of a groundbreaking proof—and her own doubts about love, trust, and sanity.
