South Lake Tahoe Special Olympics would like to thank Lake Tahoe Golf Course for hosting golf lessons for several new and seasoned golfers. Dave Gilpin, a local PGA Golf Professional, orchestrated group lessons emphasizing hitting, pitching, and putting. Participants and volunteers had a great time working on golf skills and enjoying the beautiful setting. A special thanks to Kevin Sommerfeld, Don Evans, and the supportive staff at Lake Tahoe Golf Course.
Special Olympics Northern California is dedicated to promoting inclusion and empowering children and adults with intellectual disabilities – both on and off the field.
