LAKE TAHOE, Nev. – Members of the community are coming together to find peace, solace, and connection amidst nature’s tranquility at the first Health in Community, a women’s grief retreat, from Tuesday, November 12 to Thursday, November 14, 2024, in Zephyr Cove, Nevada at Camp Galilee.

Nicole Gordon is hosting the event with Shannon Leibel leading gentle yoga and breathwork.

This retreat is for women who are grieving the loss of a loved one.
You can be anywhere in your grief journey to join. The aim of the retreat is to provide a tranquil setting in which to come together as a small community of women to heal and grow. The retreat is located at Galilee Episcopal Camp and Retreat Center. Participants will stay in the Derby-Talbot cabin which is rustic but with modern amenities including shared lodging in lower bunks with adjoining bathrooms. The cabin has a spacious living area with views of the lake where we will enjoy our yoga practice. Delicious meals are provided by Camp Galilee’s professional kitchen.

The Cost is $460 for two nights lodging plus all meals and activities.

You will need:
Sleeping bag and pillow (these can be provided if you don’t have one)
Yoga mat (can be provided if you don’t have your own)
Comfortable clothes for yoga practice
Warm layers for November in Lake Tahoe. A warm winter coat and beany are
recommended for campfire time if weather permits.
Sneakers or hiking shoes for short walks on the beach or dirt trails.
