The Tahoe Chamber invites the public to a workshop in its long-standing “Women In Leadership” program on Friday, Oct. 10, at the Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe. “Breaking Barriers: Women Leading in Male-Dominated Fields” introduces three women who have been at the forefront of their careers in law enforcement, hospitality, and visual effects. In a conversation facilitated by Natalie Lehman of She Means Business Coaching, they’ll focus on what it looks like to go first and what it means once we get there.
“I’m excited for people to get to know Traci, Dania and Lindy,” said Cristi Creegan, CEO of the Tahoe Chamber. “The paths they’ve taken within their worlds are so unique, and so interesting. I expect some dynamic and thought-provoking conversation!”
The chamber is partnering with Cospire on this event. Cospire is a nonprofit organization that grew from the chamber’s Women in Leadership program in 2023. Its mission, catalyzing personal and professional growth, connection, and mentorship across career, life, and community, resonates with anyone trying to connect the aspects of a personal and a professional life into a successful whole.
The workshop includes a delicious lunch and a fun speed networking round in which short but meaningful introductions may lead to the creation of friendships and connections. All who are interested in professional growth and community building are encouraged to attend.
Registration is available for this and all events on the Tahoe Chamber website at https://business.tahoechamber.org/events/search?c=6.
