SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The City of South Lake Tahoe Parks & Recreation team has announced a new offering for seniors – Adventures in Art & Creativity.
This four-week series is designed to provide a supportive and inspiring environment for older adults (ages 55+) to explore artistic expression, engage their creativity, and connect with others. Participants will explore a variety of art mediums and techniques including watercolor, collage, acrylic, and mixed media. Whether participants are experienced artists or complete beginners, this class welcomes everyone to enjoy community, camaraderie, wellness, and the simple joys of the creative process.
No prior art experience is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to have fun!
Program Details:
- Dates – Thursdays, October 30 to November 20
- Time – 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM
- Location – Douglas Room
- Cost – $80 for full session | $25 drop-in | $5 materials fee (paid to instructor)
