With power resuming in South Lake Tahoe, Barton Health services are scheduled to be fully operational. Patients who are unable to make their appointments should call their office directly to reschedule.
If power does affect operations in the outpatient clinics, patients will be called directly to reschedule appointments.
Barton Memorial Hospital runs on back up generators during power outages to ensure no disruption in medical services.
9:30 a.m. UPDATE: There is a fallen tree limb on a power line on Zephyr Heights Drive and NV Energy is on the way. There is active arcing and Tahoe Douglas Fire is standing by. There is no threat to structures at this time.
