Dear Editor, As the San Francisco-based owners of a 10-unit apartment complex in South Lake Tahoe, it was extremely important to us to have someone locally who would act as our liaison with our tenants, and our vendors, and importantly, oversee the maintenance of the property; someone we could totally rely on. For over 15 years, prior to our selling the property in 2021, Heather Cade-Bauer was that person.
Heather was responsible for many aspects of managing the property, including but not limited to, communication with tenants, preparing vacancies, screening new tenants, coordinating repairs and maintenance, and even making court appearances on our behalf if necessary. Overall, Heather was the person with whom our tenants were in direct and regular communication. And they trusted her, as did we.
Heather is reliable, loyal, responsible, honest, trustworthy, and a pleasure to work with. She is someone I could always count on to get “it” done.
Let it suffice to say that South Lake Tahoe will be very lucky to have her as a member of your City Council. If I were local, I would certainly vote for her.
