SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Unseasonably cold conditions will stick around through Monday morning with breezy east winds over the Sierra crest tapering off Sunday evening. Lows in the teens are gone for now. A gradual warming trend will take hold over the region this week as high pressure builds back into the western US. Late in the week, we may see increasing breezes and shower potential that could linger into the weekend.
There are chances for some upper-elevation snow on Saturday according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Reno.
