Wow. What another stellar production of WordWave last night! It’s the ninth year and what a show! It is only one weekend a year, but guess what? You can catch it on Sunday at 2 p.m….it is worth your time and money!

The three one-act plays selected in this popular playwright competition are all very cleverly written, and the performances by our local talent are truly memorable.

So here we go. The first play, Cash Flow, is really quite provocative. Intriguing, surprising, unpredictable…these are some of the comments of my friends seated next to me. We all agreed. People are not what they seem, and the actors on stage certainly worked that angle, changing direction and leaving you in disbelief.

The second play, Tea Test, has impressive acting, and again just two actors on stage, but be prepared for some sick and twisted characters. Morbidly funny. In a word…karma!

And for the last play, The Trouble With Peaches…I needed a tissue for the tears of laughter, not much brings me to tears. The teens seated behind me said, “It’s really funny, hysterical, clever!”

Catch the final performance on Sunday, November 3!
