SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – South Tahoe High School Leadership students, in collaboration with other schools in the Lake Tahoe Unified School District (LTUSD), created an inspiring video, Everyone Matters. This uplifting project reminds us that kindness has the power to make a lasting difference—and that every person truly matters. In recognition of National Kindness Day on Thursday, November 13, LTUSD schools and the District Office will celebrate unity, compassion, and the power of kindness that connects us all.

At the District Office, they will honor National Kindness Day with a five-minute gathering at 10:25 a.m., and they invite the public to join them in this moment of reflection and connection.

National Kindness Day (the same as World Kindness Day) is a global observance dedicated to promoting goodwill, compassion, and empathy through acts of kindness toward others, oneself, and the planet. This day was initiated by the World Kindness Movement in 1998.
