SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The 5th graders at Bijou Elementary are excited to participate in an overnight trip to Sierra Nevada Journeys to learn outdoor science education. To accomplish this, the students are holding a fundraiser at Elements Eatery and Bar on Wednesday, December 4 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Besides food, there will also be a student art sale and a scavenger hunt for the kids.
Early-bird tickets are available through November 30. That cost for a meal and drink is $30 for kids and $45 for adults, and starting Dec. 1 the price goes up five dollars per person.
