SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – With Thanksgiving two weeks away, the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe is seeking donations to provide Club families with Thanksgiving family meals. Last year the Club distributed 40 meals to those families who requested to receive them, and their goal is 50 meals this year.
“Thanksgiving Holiday Meals are the kick-off to our giving season,” said Aimi Xistra-Rich, the Club’s development director. “Providing a meal for our Club families shows our community supports those who need it most.”
With the increase in the cost of living and food prices, Aimi X. said they need even more support this year than in previous years. There are many ways to support this effort, donations in any amount are being accepted online at:
