SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Lake Tahoe AleWorX of South Lake Tahoe, Stateline and Reno has announced a new initiative — “Pizza Forward: 1,000 Acts of AleWorX.” Throughout the month of December 2025, AleWorX will donate one pizza for every pizza purchased at its locations, aiming to give away 1,000 pizzas to local nonprofit organizations serving families, youth, and individuals in need across the Reno/Tahoe region.

AleWorx is a locally owned craft beer and wood-fired pizza brand known for bringing the community together,

“At AleWorX, we’ve always believed that great food brings people together — and now, we want that connection to reach even further,” said Founder/CEO Luca Genasci of Lake Tahoe AleWorX. “Pizza Forward is our way of giving back to the communities that support us every day. Every pizza our guests enjoy this season will help feed someone who needs a little warmth and hope. We love our community– want to give back!”

The Pizza Forward campaign will partner with local nonprofit organizations to distribute pizzas throughout the holiday season. Some examples of potential beneficiaries include:

  • Bread & Broth, Food Bank of Northern Nevada, The Eddy House, Sierra Community House, The Reno Gospel Mission, Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe, Tahoe Magic Foundation

Call for beneficiary partners: AleWorX is currently inviting organizations serving the Reno/Tahoe region to collaborate in donation planning and distribution. Potential partners include shelters, youth programs, senior centers, and food pantries. Nonprofits interested in becoming a partner in Pizza Forward: 1,000 Acts of AleWorX are encouraged to contact: Luca Genasci, Founder/CEO, Luca@laketahoealeworx.com.

How It Works

  • For every pizza purchased, AleWorX donates one pizza to a local partner.
  • Pizzas will be prepared in weekly or biweekly batches and delivered directly to partner organizations.
  • Guests can follow progress via AleWorX’s in-store trackers and social media updates as the brand works toward 1,000 donated pizzas.

Community Impact

The initiative not only feeds those in need but also encourages guests to take part in a shared act of kindness.

“This campaign turns every customer into a contributor,” said Genasci. “By enjoying a meal with friends and family, our guests are helping us strengthen the community we all love.”
