INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. – On November 12, 2025, at approximately 6:06 a.m., the Nevada Highway Patrol responded to a report of a crash at the location of State Route 28 (SR28) near Village Boulevard, in Incline Village, Nevada.

The preliminary investigation indicates that a white 2024 GMC Sierra pickup truck was traveling northbound on Tahoe Boulevard (SR28), north of Village Boulevard in the northbound travel lane.

A pedestrian was standing in the northbound travel lane and was struck by the GMC Sierra pickup. The pedestrian, Jerry McGuire, a 59-year-old man from Incline Village, Nevada, was pronounced dead on the scene by medical personnel.

The driver of the pickup initially left the scene, but they were later located in Incline Village. They are cooperating and impairment is not considered a factor.

The Nevada Highway Patrol Major Incident Reconstruction Team is investigating this crash.
