SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reports that one person died in a Sunday evening collision on US50 just east of Camp Sacramento. On November 23, 2025, at approximately 7:17 p.m., a white Ford F-250 was towing a 32-foot 5th wheel travel trailer in the westbound lane of the highway. There were a total of five people in that vehicle, all from Woodland, Calif.: a 37-year-old driver and four children, ages 18, 16, 13, and 6. The driver sustained minor injuries along with the 13-year-old. The 16-year-old had major injuries, and the other child has moderate injuries. The survivors were all transported to Barton Memorial in South Lake Tahoe.
