SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – There is a rising need for food assistance in South Lake Tahoe, and the holidays are proving to be difficult for many trying to keep food on the table.
Christmas Cheer, the South Lake Tahoe nonprofit that provides year-round assistance with food and clothing, will be serving Christmas dinner to the 436 families who have signed up. This is almost double the normal 200-250 dinners provided every Christmas, and they need the community’s help to accomplish this feat.
