Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $1,286,209,664 for October 2024, according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board’s latest monthly report. This amounts to a 2.19 percent decrease compared to the same month a year ago when licensees reported a gaming win of $1,314,955,517. For the fiscal year, the gaming win has decreased by 2.48 percent with $5,069,678,195 in “win”.

The “gaming win” represents the computed income of casinos before business expenses and taxes.

For Lake Tahoe’s south shore, the “win” revenue was $20,823,405 in October, up 18.72 percent from October 2023’s $17,539,333. For its fiscal year, revenue win is down by 1.45 percent as compared to the previous year when the “win” was $101,328,344.

The Stateline casinos saw the biggest gain in the state for the monthly “win.” On the south shore, $2,933,000 came from table games and $17,890,000 from slots.

Carson Valley area casinos reported a $11,539,898 gaming win, up 1.86 percent. On the North Shore, the reported gaming win of $1,786,367 was down 5.35 percent.

Casinos in Reno, Sparks, and other areas of Washoe County saw gaming-related revenue decrease over the last year collectively by 4.87 percent with a “win” of $91,277,190.

Las Vegas/Clark County casinos had a “win” of $1,112,732,098, down 2.15 percent over the same month last year.

For the fiscal year, the State of Nevada has collected $402,170,431 in percentage fees.
