Did you feel it? A 5.7 magnitude earthquake rattled the Western Nevada region at just after 3 p.m. Monday. The epicenter of the initial quake of 5.7M was 16 miles north, northeast of Yerington.
Since that time there have been over two dozen aftershocks up to 5.5M, with more possible.
As of 4 p.m. Monday, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) has thousands of comments on its “Did You Feel It?” website. Those reporting are from the San Francisco area to Susanville, including Lake Tahoe.
